crafted with geranium, chamomile, ho wood, cedarwood and lavender essential oils, this bar is a soft blend of gentle bloom on a base of grounding wood. pink clay lends a natural hue and a creamy lather that leaves skin smooth and balanced.
the maiden meadow story /
this recipe was inspired by lore from the carpathian mountain meadows, where wildflowers have long been woven into braids and crowns by maidens honoring the land. in this tradition (as in many cultures around the world) blossoms were worn as symbols of protection, beauty, love, and belonging. the soft floral woods of this bar echo those customs and invite a quiet sense of connection with each use.
care & use /
lather between hands or directly on skin. for best results, always allow soap block dry between uses, and never leave sitting in water.
for external use only
ingredients /
saponified organic oils of cocos nucifera (coconut), elaeis guineensis (sustainable palm), olea europaea (olive), and ricinus communis seed (castor seed), butyrospermum parkiishea (shea butter), with essential oils of cedrus atlantica (cedarwood), pelargonium graveolens (geranium), anthemis nobilis (chamomile), cinnamomum camphora (ho wood), and lavandula angustifolia (lavender), and montmorillonite and kaolin (french pink) clays
about our soaps /
apothecary verde soaps are crafted through the cold-process method, a practice that honors tradition, ritual, and slow living. this process blends sodium hydroxide and pure water with a base of nourishing oils and butters, initiating the chemistry of soapmaking. each apothecary verde soap batch is hand-poured using only natural plant oils, clays, and botanicals, then left to rest and cure for 4–8 weeks. the result is a dense, long-lasting, hand-cut bar that lathers richly without stripping moisture — a local favorite since 2009.
we use organic ingredients whenever possible, maintaining a commitment to our conscious community while keeping our prices steady and accessible.
