what our yoga students are saying

MARY C.

“you do such an incredible job of tying together east meets west. one of the best classes i’ve had in a VERY long time. so grateful!”

CLAIRE M.

“a simple question begins every private yoga session with melissa: what do you need today? my answers have ranged from the prosaic – a sore lower back, a headache; to the insightful – i need to ground, i want to feel expanded; to the inarticulate – i don’t know what i need.  melissa arrives with a plan, but based on these answers she brings her background in various yoga traditions and meditation disciplines to craft an individualized class. each session leaves me feeling connected and reconciled in my body. her introduction of meditation and breathing techniques inspired me to begin a daily(ish) meditation practice and gave me tools to use when experiencing anxiety.  more than this, melissa’s bespoke yoga sessions have given me space to lay down some of the mental weapons i have used against my body, something I thought was unattainable.”
