in the wellspring’s in house soap lab, we create our own line of all natural soaps + share our space to offer you cold-process soap-making workshops — a unique opportunity to practice mindfulness and connect to community while creating a functional product designed to take good care of you!
wellspring founder melissa klimo-major has been a purveyor of natural body & home products since 2009, under the brand terra verde soap & candle co/terra verde handmade. her long lasting & ultra lathering soap recipe has stood the test of time since those early days, and lavender eucalyptus, the first batch she ever made and sold under the terra verde label, remains a community favorite today.

about our soap-making workshops
after an introduction to the art & science of soap-making, you will assist in the batching of an organic base recipe, developed by instructor and soaper melissa klimo-major. after your group prepares this base, you’ll have time to peruse the wellspring’s collection of essential oils, natural clays/colorants, and botanicals, designing the perfect recipe for your 100% natural soap batch.
your soaps will remain at the wellspring to cure for a few weeks after the workshop, and then you can arrange to pick them up, or opt to have them direct shipped to you for a fee.
