crafted with citrus and herbal essential oils blended into a slow-infused mexican copal oil, this bar honors the warmth and grounded energy of oaxaca. french caramel clay lends a terra cotta hue to echo the valley’s sun-held earth, while layers of indigo pigment, cacao and green tea powders, and calendula flowers add thoughtful depth as layered reflections of the land’s colors, textures, and gifts.
the reverencia a la tierra story /
inspired by time numerous explorations of oaxaca, mexico, this soap blend reflects the deep connection shared by local artisans, land stewards, and communities who carry forward traditions. reverencia a la tierra is a small tribute to that lineage of reciprocity: honoring the land, benefiting from her offerings, and returning favor through intention and responsible ritual. my hope is that each bar carries a trace of this journey; its essence revived through scent with every use.

apothecary verde soaps are crafted through the cold-process method, a practice that honors tradition, ritual, and slow living. this process blends sodium hydroxide and pure water with a base of nourishing oils and butters, initiating the chemistry of soapmaking. each apothecary verde soap batch is hand-poured using only natural plant oils, clays, and botanicals, then left to rest and cure for 4–8 weeks. the result is a dense, long-lasting, hand-cut bar that lathers richly without stripping moisture — a local favorite since 2009.
