→ an evolving aromatic blend / pachamama (named for the indigenous andean goddess who personifies mother earth) is the evolution of one of our most popular original formulas, patchouli & oatmeal. as patchouli oil grows increasingly scarce due to changing climates and the plant’s delicate needs, we’ve adapted our recipe out of respect for mother nature's current rhythms. with pachamama, dark patchouli is layered into a blend with benzoin and copaiba balsam, two rich, resinous and deeply grounding scents that offer just as much comfort.

lather between hands, directly on skin, a washcloth or within our sisal soap sleeve.
for best results, always allow soap block dry between uses, and never leave sitting in water.

ABOUT OUR SOAPS
apothecary verde soaps are crafted through the cold-process method, a practice that honors tradition, ritual, and slow living. this process blends sodium hydroxide and pure water with a base of nourishing oils and butters, initiating the chemistry of soap making. each apothecary verde soap batch is hand-poured using only natural plant oils, clays, and botanicals, then left to rest and cure for 4–8 weeks. the result is a dense, long-lasting, hand-cut bar that lathers richly without stripping moisture. a cleveland local favorite since 2009!
