crafted with ylang ylang, jasmine, tangerine, lime, and copaiba balsam essential oils, this bar blends bright citrus with soft, sultry florals to capture the stunning depth of a sunset over the pacific. layers of skin-softening pink, purple, golden and red clays swirl through each bar to mimic the dreamy colors and shifting hues of a tropical sunset, creating a lush sensory experience with every lather.
the costa afterglow story /
this soap was inspired by a retreat i led through the nicoya peninsula in costa rica, a really special place on earth where the connection to land, water, and tradition is felt immediately. warm tropical evenings with easy, slow rhythms and ever-changing coastline glows at sunset were magic moments that deserved to be carried forth in a sensory experience. costa afterglow is our small reminder of the beauty of pausing to soak in nature, and enjoy the sense of ease it brings. my hope is that each bar carries a trace of this journey; its essence revived through scent with every use.

apothecary verde soaps are crafted through the cold-process method, a practice that honors tradition, ritual, and slow living. this process blends sodium hydroxide and pure water with a base of nourishing oils and butters, initiating the chemistry of soapmaking. each apothecary verde soap batch is hand-poured using only natural plant oils, clays, and botanicals, then left to rest and cure for 4–8 weeks. the result is a dense, long-lasting, hand-cut bar that lathers richly without stripping moisture — a local favorite since 2009.
