ABOUT CHAKRA POP / 

the chakra pop event is a mixed levels yoga experience, appropriate for all levels of practitioner. you'll explore a color-filled story of the chakras, as told through vinyasa yoga flow. 

the chakra system is a network of energy centers in the body. we'll study the seven main chakras that follow the length of your spine, from root to crown. you'll learn a little bit about each chakra as we flow...including the colors associated with each chakra, via pops of color.

a 60 minute yoga session will include a centered meditation, flow, chakra education, and an a restoring final rest. you'll leave with an understanding of how to relate to your own chakra system in body, mind, and spirit. 

registration includes your choice of one chakra pop color packet for our post practice celebration of color (yes, it's going to be a legendary photo op!) plus access to our color warriors who will pop you with as much color as you want before and during practice. extra color packets will be available for purchase.

BRING WITH YOU / 

a yoga mat, water, and wear your favorite white/light or black gear, if you want to collect some colorful memories on your clothing!

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTORS / 

melissa klimo-major is a cleveland-based yoga teacher, specializing as a therapeutic specialist through yoga medicine. melissa’s mission is to make yoga accessible to all, and her desire to live freely on and off her mat inspires those around her to cultivate ownership of their own paths. her style is approachable; she balances a focus of physical and energetic alignments through the freedom of flow. mkm can be found teaching yoga at apothecary verde, where she also leads soap-making classes, or wandering the globe as a retreat leader on her eco + ethical small group trips through the society verde travel & social club.

erika whites is jazzed to return to chakra pop at red space with mkm. she is a cle-based yoga teacher, sound healer, chihuahua wrangling, vegetarian sagittarius from the slytherin house. she proudly leads business operations at lake yoga with the best dang group of instructors out there!

THE CHAKRA POP STORY /

chakra pop originated in 2015 as a vision of balance & brews founder mkm, whose mission has always been to bridge communities and highlight the subtle body energies of yoga practices.

chakra pop yoga has been shared as a creative celebration on regional balance & brews yoga & beer retreats with jackie o’s in athens, ohio, along the shores of lake erie as part of great lake’s brewing company’s burning river fest, and as a headlining event at red space.

chakra pop registration is non-refundable. no refunds will be given, though registrations may be transferred to another attendee for the same event. thank you for respecting this industry standard rule for special events, and for allowing us to focus on what we love most: teaching yoga and sharing space with you!
